Keep My muscle

Hi iam 17yrs old n I lift weights 3x a week i gain muscle.My muscle however doesnt stay on me after a workout.I can workout at the gym for 5 hours com back home sleep wake up n my muscle gone.

How do i keep my muscle?
Iam i doing somthin wrong?:mad:

its because when your lifting you have more blood flow through your chest so it makes the muscle look bigger but after a few hours it starts to go away. your still gaining muscle even though they look smaller the day after.
 
You build muscle outside of the gym! You breakdown muscle inside of the gym!

Your muscles may look bigger as soon as you leave the gym but that is not them actually growing/responding from your resistance training. Sorry to burst your bubble.

dude... if u wana make fun of someone's honest question instead of trying to help, go to some other forum and do watever the hek u want. this forum is to help ppl out, not to answer ppls questions like someone with a pole stuck up their ass.... just sayin.
 
That's funny seeing as how I have about 200x the posts you have, and how more than 50% of those are just exactly that -- me helping people out.

Maybe before you start pointing fingers you could read around a bit. This guy's got three posts, and he doesn't have the decency to research on his own or even type out coherent questions (all of which are pretty much the same). Works out five hours a day? Doesn't know what a pump is? I posted because I wanted to show him he's wasting his (and our) time, and I hope he got the message.
 
Eat right

You might not be making the gains you expect because of your diet. When your 17 you burn a lot of calories fast. When you reach my age you burn calories slow. I would agree with Stroutman's post 100%.

Yeh, it's just the pump after the workout. Make sure u eat lots of protein + carbs after the workout so u heal the muscles.
