Keep falling off the wagon at weekends!

Hey all, hope you are all doing well! I have now been on my "diet" for 3 weeks and am failing miserably! In 3 weeks I have had 4 chinese takeaways! I have been eating sooo much chocolate as well! Not only that but exercise goes down the drain at the weekend.

Also I have been doing 2-3 hours revision each night for exams coming up this week, on top of homework, chores & babysitting so have no time or energy left to do exercise! I'm already finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning and nearly falling asleep in class. What do you do when you fall off the wagon and when you have hardly any time or energy left!? I really don't want to fail yet another diet!

Tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Instead of getting back on the wagon, just try jogging beside it! Sorry, that was glib, what a really mean is stop thinking about it as all or nothing. Do the best you can. Sure you've had some chinese take-out. Have you been eating better the other meals? Don't deny yourself chocolate (and don't beat yourself up about it), just try to eat less. If you are falling asleep in class, you should really try to get more sleep. Don't worry about the exercise if you truly don't have time. Can you do some active stuff while you are babysitting? Take the kids for a walk. Play on the jungle gym.

Above all, don't think about this as a diet (failed or otherwise). You are slowly changing you life to lose the weight and keep it off. It's a slow process, you just have to keep trying your best.
