Just starting out...

Ok, I'm 5"3 and 168lbs.
I have decided that I want to lose weight, to ideally be at 120ish?
I'm eating 1200 calories a day, using a calorie counter and I've cut out fizzy juice and now just drink water and orange/apple juice.

I do literally no excersize atm, I used to play football and do martial arts but I quit once I got to like 13/14.
I'm 18 now.

I've joined a gym and now have all the equipment that comes with (fully equipped)

However I've noticed I'm REALLY unfit. I wanted to do HIIT but I started the gym on saturday and realised I was no were near fit enough to do so.

I'm thinking this is gonna be my routine until I'm fit enough to start it:

10 minutes cycling machine
5 minutes cross trainer
5 minutes rowing
5 minutes treadmill

I'm doing this 4 times a week.

I'm thinking I should be doing more and also from reading this forum that I should be doing weight training too?

All/any help and tips appreciated!
 
You need to spend more time on one machine. Pick 2 machines and do 15-20m each.
1200 calories is a bit low and try to avoid the juices ... they are just packed with sugar.
Yes, weight training is crucial. Muscle burns calories. More muscle = more calories burned
