I used the formula in men’s fitness and it said I should be eating ~2000 calories a day in order to lose weight. I was hoping I could get some feedback on my diet. I know it could be better (and it will!!!) I am just trying to take it slow so I don’t get burnt out. (again)
I am about 5'11 amd weight 225. I would like to get back to about 190.
Breakfast (7:00 am)
Non fat Yogurt and a Banana
Lunch (11:00 – 11:30ish)
200-300 calorie Weight Watcher Dinner w/mixed Greens Salad a little cheese and light dressing
Snack (2:00ish)
Whole wheat turkey sandwich w/Dijon mustard and low fat swiss cheese (
I usually work out about 4:00.
Dinner
I have not been eating a good dinner since I started my diet (a week ago) normally its an orange and some salted peanuts and a Salad. Dont know why but I not very hungry when I get home and I am afraid to make anything major for fear of overeating....I usually tell my wife to feed the kids before I get there. Any suggestions...
I like to lift but I hate cardio so I have not done much cardio yet. Once I get into routine I plan to add more cardio.
Should I be eating anything again before bed? Some fruit maybe?
NOW THE BIG QUESTION...
I had bought a couple boxes of Omaha Steaks before deciding on this diet. Some are ribeyes and some are t-bones...How bad is it to eat them for dinner after working?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
