Just saying Hi

Hi, my name is Hailey. I'm in my mid-20's and have always been a little on the heavier side. The last few years have been very stressful for me and it's starting to really show in my weight. I really enjoy being outside walking around, but rarely have the drive to do so. I work long hours and have like 10 great places to eat around me and none of them are very healthy. I've been stuck in my sedentary and eating habits for a while now and just want to break the cycle... So that's why I'm trying to reach-out and see what has worked for others. I'm a bit shy and not very social, but I will try to keep involved.

Thanks!

hello and welcome! and best wishes to you! for me personally it's been a long journey of ups a downs. currently I've found that I tend to push to hard on myself when it comes to exercise. I've noticed that I'll go hard for a few months and then burn out and then I'll stop working out for some time....then I go again and go hard and end up burning out....so currently I'm doing just 10 minutes a day just to build some consistency.. I don't work long hours but I have a busy life .... I've brought tennis shoes to keep specifically at my desk so if I feel like walking while I'm at work I don't have the excuse of not having proper shoes to work out....I've also been trying to keep my little 10 minute workout full of variety and particularly exercises that I enjoy...I also burn out when I'm doing exercises that I don't like....I love hiking and I'm excited to build my workout time back up to actually go on a hike...tho heck I might even just do a 10 minute hike anyway just to get into some nature....I have been dancing for 10 minutes...I've been doing strength training videos...I've found a 20 minute one but I just did the first 10 minutes today and then skipped to the end for the stretches...in 2 days I'll do the last 10 minutes of the video ....anyway keeping my head in health ...reading something about it every day or chatting to people online or in my personal life about it daily helps keep me focused...again best wishes to you on your journey...we can do this!

You can do anything really if you want to. I always had a little weight problems, but almost never done something about it. U till I was diagnosed with cocksartrohsis at 33. My doctor said it's up to me, change my lifestyle or hospital. Since I have two kods, school and preschool age, working all day, husband away, house and yard to clean and everything else doing on my own, I started working out at 5 am, four days in a row with fifth off. I'm changing my workout routine every now and then, jogging, kickboxing, jillian michaels workout, billy blanks tae bo, burn to the beat, etc. Or just dancing with my kids. Minerals are very important. Im taking daily dose of magnezium, calcium, vitamin d3, omega 3 oils, l carnitin, and so on. I'm trying not to eat bread, kids too, I make homemade meals, bread with whole grains, cinnamon with mornig coffee, lot and lots of water, almost 5 l a day, lots od tea, no soda, olive oil on anything. My blood results are excellent now. I've lost in first year 14 kg. I'm full of energy, never idle, playing outside with my kids, always working around house. I'm not ideal weight for someone probably but I'm feeling great, I dont have that much pain in my legs, wich is most important thing.
