Welcome to the fora.

I feel a little shy about this place as well. I have only been here a few days but I am feeling better about it all the time.

Don't be a stranger.

Hi! Just wanted to welcome you here.. I know that you will find all the support you need here with all the wonderful people you will meet. I too was a little shy about the site... but then i thought i have only to gain friends and loose lbs. I was at 347lbs when i started my diet and i know exactly how you are feeling and I am still traveling the journey you are about to start on. Your strength is within yourself to get started and make it happen for you.. We will all be here for you cheering you on.. as i hope you will be in my cheer corner as well. Like my 13 y/o daughter tells me... I believe in you, but in order to succeed, you must believe in yourself.. If you believe in your heart that you can achieve..then you will. Again, welcome and good luck! *~babygurl~*

Glad your here

Hi HillbillyLee,

Thanks for your welcome post on my newb thead.
Yeah, I know where you are coming from and just hang in there with the rest of us. It always looks harder than it is from the bottom of the hill, but once you take those first couple of steps up, the hill always looks smaller. :)

Thanks for your support and support is here for you as well.

Take care,
Jdi

I have already found abunch of support here. Talking about it is about the only thing i have never tried. It seems to help even if i do just ramble on. I guess its true "sometimes a total stranger is your best friend" well it feels that way sometimes..................

Hello Everyone!

I'm new. I wanted to say hello and tell Lee to check out that Hollywood fellas before and after link for some encouragement. Congratulations, Dude! You look like you lost a lot more than 30 some lbs. I think I am going to adopt your plan! Thanks for the pics.

pineola i did take a look. It can be done i have done it before. just never this extreme. now that im able to move better than i could after the last surgery it will come off. It will just take a bunch of time. im thinking at least a few years but if i can just get to where im comfortable ill be happy.....
