. . . . and haven't lost any weight yet. I want my money back. Ha.

I know how to lose weight, and also know that I can still enjoy any kind of food that I want, as long as I do so in moderation. Since moving in with my man over a year ago, I find myself going out to eat alot more than I ever did before and also just overindulging. Oftne I eat when I am not even hungry. It is frustrating to keep making the same mistakes over and again. Now none of my clothes fit and I feel physically uncomfortable. I have felt this way for about a year now.

I walk every day and often take intense hikes. I also ride my bike and use a Nordic Trak occasionally. So I do exercise, though I have never been one to go to the gym and don't plan to start now. I just need to exercise more regularly and eat less! My goal is to lose 20 pounds.

Well, now that's said, it's nice to meet you all. It's good to be part of a community of people who are working toward improvement, and it's encouraging to see the success of others.

Glad you are here with us. Making a journey is always easier and most times more fun when you have people to join you.

I'm new here as well, but I have already found a sense of community and from that I no longer feel alone.

welcome to the forum Kwalilox! i think most of us DO know how to lose weight, its just that daily life and lack of motivation/willpower sometimes get in the way. if you are really determined to lose the weight, you can overcome that! "they" say that to lose weight, you need to exercise 4-5 times a week for an hour, and 30 min daily for heart health and to maintain. its hard to get used to but becomes a habit after a while. :) you also need to make sure you drink 64 oz of water daily (or close to it) and lots of fruits and veggies.
