Sport Just had wisdom teeth pulled...

Sport Fitness
Anyway, its hard for me to get any "foods" down. I tried some cottage cheese, but it just wasnt happening. Needless to say to get food I have been making smoothies, I threw a little cottage cheese in with strawberries/banana/pineapple. This will probably be for just a day. Will this hurt me? I figure by tonight/tomorrow I should be able to get down some Cottage Cheese and Eggs, therefore I wil be back on my feet. I probably wont be able to weight train for another week either. What am I looking at in terms of losses, and what can I do to help curtail these.

Thanks guys.

a few days of bad diet won't hurt you in the long run.

but do not smoke or drink through straws. you'll develop dry sockets...not fun.

I was lucky when I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled, all in under an hour, with two separate anesthetics. That night I ate a hamburger, and the next day I had crunchy garlic bread, and a steak.

gahh, guys i think i did a bad thing today.
It was the first day where my mouth felt good, I got down some solids.
I woke up and had a bowl of Barilla Plus pasta and fruit salad, it went down good and I chewed it well.
I then had another fruit bowl a few hours later, and another HUGE bowl of pasta for lunch, and another smaller bowl of pasta for snack.
I have also been picking at the watermelon all day....I feel HUGE. What should I do? Without being able to excersize until wednesday at least...i feel like im just going to blow up to 938520983 lbs.
I cannot believe i couldnt control myself today.
My goal is to gain weight, but not fat..
Im 6'3 152

I was about to post the very thing. I had 4 dry sockets, and it was without a doubt the worst pain i have ever felt. So be clean, eat soft and you should be fine in no time to eat normal.

So you guys dont think i ate way too much today?

I had a couple turkey meatballs and some steamed broccoli for dinner. I still feel like i way overdid it today on the food, its just without excersize i find myself bored, and more hungry.

Sorry for flipping out guys, but im just a little anxious about food, even though I need to gain weight.

No i think you are fine. It is a time to heal yourself so you provide yourself with what you need to feel better. I think its okay to have a little treat for yourself after going through surgery;)

Also the be clean was about your teeth/gum ha not your diet.

right I know I know. My diet wasnt too sloppy today, I think just looking at it not being able to be physical today or yesterday is just getting me down about my diet. Looking back at it i didnt take in THAT many calories. Plus my body is working on healing aswell, so thats probably requiring some calories aswell. I mean today consisted of Pasta and Fruit. the pasta was no sauce, just pasta, and it was Barilla Plus, so it wasnt crap pasta. I took in TONS of water. Sorry about my anxiety guys, just kinda dealing with a minor eating disorder (currently trying to get up to about 170, but I want to put it on in muscle.

EDIT-

It is morning on Tuesday, my mouth feels good. I was thinking about taking the dog for al ittle walk this morning to get out. Think that would be beneficial? Thanks for the help guys.

How many calories do you all think I should be getting in to build some muscle and gain some mass. Im just so scared im going to over do it, that it is hindering my ability to take in more calories.

Today I had

Egg Beaters (probably 3 eggs worth) with fruit and 1/4 cup of cottage cheese
Chicken soup for lunch.

yeah
pathetic. But i am just scared im gonna go off the deep end, plus i reall cant pound solid food down yet, gotta still be semi-soft.

Thanks guys.
