I don't even remember the last time I ate right....

I eat right and wrong. I get alot of protein throughout my day with Chicken, Tuna, and such. But I eat bad food also. I just have to eliminate the bad food and I will be set.

I cheat every weekend. Usually Saturdays, I have whatever I want and I DONT eat 5 meals. Sometimes it's just 2 or 3.

(I have to say though, I pay the price at times, I get belly aches and feel blah in general--but only sometimes lol):D

i only let loose when there isnt a better choice. like if everyone is at a party and i havent ate in 3 hours and the best thing to eat is pizza. then i eat 2-4 pieces o pizza.

but that happens very rarely because i usualy pack a healthy sandwhich whenever i go out just incase.

i dont know why, but i never have the urge to just pig out on bad food anymore. its like knowing about nutrition completely changed me, my outlook on food and how my goals far overpower and erase any desire to stray from them

I don't know if that stuff would make me cheat, not my kinda food. If they had wings I would have been all over that.

last thing i remember of saturday night was strugglin to get a chicken burger into my mouth......

i think once a week is alright mate, just dont get pissed and end up in a bad chip shop

Yay! I have gotten 2 days of no junk food and high protein. :)

one thing i've noticed bud is the longer you go without the less you want it

i used to eat nothing but crap, gave it all up bout 6 months back and now i rarely want to eat crap

.....except for a saturday night when im pissed and the only place to get food is crap

IMO unless you have to have a totally strict diet for something like competitive Body Building or boxing then I don't see the point. Having the odd cheat day isn't gonna make you bloat like Oprah.
I personally have at least 2 cheat meals a week and often have buscuits or chocolate in the evening on the days my girlfriend is feeling crappy and buys loads of sweet stuff. It means I'm not ripped enough for a competition but I'm still lean and in control of my diet. Also, doing things my way makes it easy to stick with the plan for the long term; while all my old school buddys, workplace know-it-alls and family members who told me my diet was wrong and that I should move over to their stupid Atkins/GI/(insert any other diet that has a name here) have fallen off the wagon at various times and turned into fatties, I've gradually gained lean mass and am still going strong with no sign of failing

To cut a long story short, by allowing yourself to gorge at a party you kept yourself happy and prevented any resentment from building towards your diet so it's a good thing.
Just don't do it too often

Just to follow on from my last post, this proves what I was saying, if your diet means you feel like this then there's a problem with it; it's probably too strict to stick to. If you go well over you daily calorie allowance it doesn't mean s***, what's important is the amount you take in on average over a length of time.

no seriously, maybe its just me, its like ****in drug addiction, the longer you go without the easier it is

Food is addicting. And your right also. At the beginning I was sad that I skipped out on "good" food but now I'm happier to see my gut shrink every morning.

I am eating a very high protein diet and no junk food. I already feel alot better. I lost alot of water weight and fat too. Its been 3-4ish days and I have dropped from 175.2 to 169. I am rarely in the 160s. I'm also not bloated as much as I used to be.

Reminds me of something Stroutman81 said a little while back:

"Acute setbacks mean very little in the grand scheme of chronic forward progress. "

I enjoy a cheat every now and then. I dont let it get to me because I know that I am eating well and exercising most of the time.

I think deprivation is one of the main reason people lose weight then put it all back on and then some. Being fit and healthy isn't about deprivation, it is a lifestyle choice and doing everything in moderation.

Lol i wouldent resent my diet if i did that id feel better knowing im eating healthy and keeping fitt and working towards geting better but yeah if i had no other choice and thats all that was there i would do it. u cant allow urself to think of food as somthing that just taste good i allways remind my self that the food i eat is making me stronger and fitter. :)
