The last few days I have been all over the internet reading weight loss related articles and such, trying to get my facts straight and everything and there are two quick questions that I have that I would like to have set straight.

First: I read that going straight to your workout in the morning before eating breakfast helps the weight loss process because you're not just burning off the calories from your breakfast.

Second: In an interview with WWE Superstar John Morrison, a fan asked him how he maintains his look. He said that he eats an apple before bed and in the morning because the simple sugars in them help to breakdown the fat or something to that extent.

Is any of this true? Thanks for the help.

I can answer the last question.

No.

There are some people who think that apple cider vinegar can aid weight loss but it's a bunch of hooey.

First: I read about a study where people didn't gain as much weight on a high-fat diet when they worked out in the morning. That's pretty specific circumstances though. On the other side, some people advocate eating within 30 mins of waking up. The bit about "just burning off the cals from breakfast" seems silly.

Second: Admittedly, the 2 apples a day seems wrong. But I'm a big fan of experimentation. When you get to a point in your diet where you think it could help, go for it, and let us know if you think it worked.
