Weight-Loss

Sorry if they're stupid questions but anyway...

Say if you eat loads for breakfast, but then feel hungry by lunch, does that mean you have a fast metabolism?

And also

How long does it take from when you eat more food than your body needs til it gets converted to fat?

Also

If you eat loads more than you need for a week and then in the next week eat less than you need, would you not put on any weight?

Ok thanks

your body isn't that predictable. The metabolism speeds up and slows down depending on what your "norm" is. Basically, your body (metabolism) is happy at a certain weight and / or routine. If you try to sway from that, it'll compensate by speeding up or slowing down.
IE. If you normally eat a healthy amount of food during the day, then if you have an abnormally big breakfast, your metabolism will kick into high gear to burn the extra food you just ate.
IE2. However, if you don't normally eat much food during the day besides breakfast, your metabolism will slow down so that the food will last as long as possible.

Every person's body reacts differently to different situations based on it's history. If you have been a certain weight for 10 years, then it's going to be very hard to get below it. But, if you've ballooned over the last 6 months, it won't be so hard to bring the weight back down. ... hope that helps.
