I am 5'7 120 lbs. and my goal is to dunk by the middle of summer. I have ankle weights and getting jump/strength shoes in a couple weeks. Any suggestions to excersises? Right now im about 7or8 inches away from grabbing rim.
I have one program for you: Vertical Jump Bible aka VJB. It's created to improve your vertical jump. A friend of mine is doing intermediate version and still has some improvement. If you do advanced version + plyo, I bet you will dunk in 6 months.
1. Jump as high as you can on EVERY jump.
2. Do not bend deeply at the knees.
3. Jump quickly - Explosive jumps.
4. In between series, rest no longer then 15 seconds.
