Jumping?

Hi everyone!!first post here

so i'm in the basketball team and in my free time i like to jump like 300 times per day(to be able to jump higher). But recently i've heard that Jumping will stunt growth and hurt the bones instead due to compression and force.

Is this true?

the MAssai in africa jump a lot and they're tall and lean and most have a 3 ft vertical. So jump away.

Try adding isometrics to your training. 2 handles connected by a rope just long enough so you can stand up anout 3/4 of the way. Stand on one and either hold the other like you're doing curls or hook it on the crooks of your elbows. Now try and stand up. Hold for 10-20 seconds. repeat.

My buddy did thid religiously and added 4 inches to his vertical over a summer.
He's 5'10 and can jam 2 handed. Pretty good for a short white guy.

wow ok thanks for the suggestions,i will try adding isometrics to jumps

but the impact on the bones will not injure/stunt growth?

jumping jacks 3 sets of atleast 200 each day
