Found this forum thought it was great. It's exactly what I need. Some where to vent, rant, and even sometimes pat myself on the back.

I'm starting today at 227 and my first goal is to get out of the 200's Hopefully sometime in september:)

Weekends are the worst for me, wish me luck!
 
Welcome! seen your posts a few places :) Great to have you here! I remember crossing the 200s down to 199.. best day ever. I started out at 230 so we are alot alike in that way! You can do it.. and I wish you much happyness and support on the way :)
 
thanks and WAY TO GO! on your progress so far.

one question I have is, it does get easier right? I mean life is work, but do you still find it as hard now to stay away from bad habits as you did in the beginning?
 
It gets easier.. once you loose weight the results encourage you. And you find foods you like just as much and that are good for you. Its a whole knew lifestyle! It will get better.. and u will be happier.

Yes it gets easier. Just don't try to turn your whole life upside down the first week. Make changes you can live with, and stick with for the long term! As you learn to live with each small change, add something new. Aim for a loss of about 2 pounds a week, and you'll lose in a healthy way that you can maintain for life!
 
Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of supportive people here! We have a thread under "clubs" called headed for and reaching the 100s for all of us are trying to make it to that 199 mark. There is also a thread called 200 plus club. You can join us if you would like. Good luck! :D
