alright. i'm just gonna lay it out, i should've gone to bed a while ago, i'm ready for sleep! ha.
1. i have naturally muscular legs (thighs and calves). they aren't huge, but i'd like it if they were slimmer.
2. i need to lose about 25 pounds.
3. i'd like to start jogging.
4. what's the best "starter" plan for interval training? -and is it good for what i'm concerned with and would like to change?
i don't want to build up more muscle in my legs, just maintain and hopefully "elongate" them. is interval training good for this? or long distance running? or something else...? -along with other exercises. (like yoga and stretching before/after working out, etc.)
same goes for the weight loss. does one or the other affect my weight loss? i've heard that runners can end up gaining some weight (although i believe this was mentioned about marathon runners and such...?). i'm just looking to get into a healthy habit and lose some poundage.
