Jogging and HIIT training

Would a 3-5 mile jog/run everyday and 20min HIIT session 3-4 times a week be too much?Or would it be better to alternate it every other day?
 
Depends what you can handle. Most people would get burnt out pretty quickly with that routine. If you think you will stick to it try it.
 
I wouldn't jog AND do HIIT on the same day. I'd do cardio 3 times a week, maybe two times HIIT and one time steady state jogging.
