Hello everyone this is my journal, which will hopefully keep me in check and focused.

I'm gonna start My journey to losing bodyfat from tomorrow. after all it is the holidays. plus im having one last unhealthy meal before i start.

im attaching 2 pics of my current condition, its the best i could do, sorry if theres rubbish and you cant tell anything.

better put down my goals....

1) reduce my bodyfat from 25% to at least 15%

2) be able to pull off wearing a t shirt, without unsightly lumps and bumps

3) to get leaner and fitter

so what do you guys think to my starting point? do i have hope? or is it a step to far??

my target is June 2008

height= 5' 8'' weight= 155lbs bodyfat= 25%

target= 15% or lower bodyfat!!!

I think you're being waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too harsh on yourself! Yes, you could lose a little bodyfat - who couldn't? And, you could use a little muscle - again, who couldn't? You have very reasonable goals and a very decent body, a bit small-framed as you know, to work with.

I think if you gained 10 pounds of muscle and then lost 10 pounds of fat youi would be very pleased with yourself.

just thinking out loud here......but why do i have the name joe blow underneath JiltedJedi?? does anyone know?

its ok i worked it out, need to have more then 5 posts to move up.....doh!
 
first day of my new improved healthy lifestyle (fingers crossed)

had some oats for breakfast with sultanas.

then got on with some push ups,bodyweight squats and burpees!! god push ups slightly struggled! squats no problem could have done hundreds, but the burpees really took it out of me, i cant believe im that out of shape!

anyway onto the hiit, i did ok, maybe i should drop the push ups,squats and burpees. i managed to do 4 rounds of 1min 14kmh and 2min of 11kmh. i normally finish the full 5! but boy did that lot knacker me out.

anyway ive got my breath back, so am off doing food shopping, stocking up on tuna and chicken.

might do some sale shopping later on aswell. i have to also check out my nephews homemade gym. hes got a mma punchbag that i would'nt mind having a go on to get some more cardio.
 
yeah i just wanted to do bodyweight squats, i do weighted squats in my fbw mon/wed/fri

but on my non fbw days i think ill change from

push ups/bodyweight squats/burpees to

push ups/weighted lunges/weighted sit ups ( they wont be hardcore weights just something that should make me sweat some more )

just had my dinner grilled chicken, carrots, peas, mash potato

already the cravings for chocolate and soda is trying to take over.... im keeping them at bay by supping on water!

ive got another session of hiit to look forward to in 3-40 mins time........... lucky me!
