I'm not exactly a car officianado, but I do enjoy machinery at its finest (vehicles being one of those things). When I saw this, I just couldn't stop laughing. Crazy Californians. 
This is the link to the guy's site. Its a great read. I couldn't stop giggling.
What makes it even better is that this guy has also done some rocketry with scooters. At first glance, I thought it was a Vespa with two jet engines.. that alone made me laugh for a while.
