Well since I didn't see a January 2lb a week challege I decided to make one myself because I like to track my results. Anybody else can join if you want.

Not aiming for 2 pounds a week, myself. I'd be delighted with 6 for the month, and happy with 5.

01/01/08 - 144.8 / 141.2 (trend / scale)
01/08/08 - 142.7 / 142.0 (trend / scale)
01/15/08 - 141.7 / 139.3 (trend / scale)
01/21/08 - 140.2 / 139.4 (trend / scale)
01/28/08 - 138.4 / 136.8 (trend / scale)

Personal goal for 1/31 - 139.8 (trend). Scale should be somewhere between 1-4 pounds lower.

08 January = 12st 1.0lbs i.e. 169.0 pounds (total GAIN 0.6 pounds) - water retention
15 January = 11st 12.6lbs i.e. 166.6 pounds (total LOSS 1.8 pounds)
22 January = 11st 10.8lbs i.e. 164.8 pounds (total LOSS 3.6 pounds)
29 January = 11st 9.6lbs i.e. 163.6 pounds (total LOSS 4.8 pounds)

Finish Weight January 31 = 11st 10.6lbs i.e. 164.6 pounds (total LOSS 3.8 pounds)


Total Lost in January 3.8 pounds

Hopefully I will lose more weight next month. It is my worst monthly result since starting my project. I suppose it is reasonable to expect this kind of thing this deep into a long term project!

New to the forum and this will officially be my first challenge. Well, starting a little late, but hey, I'm starting and I think that's what counts. Good luck to me!!.. and of course, all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Start Weight = 153

02 Jan = 153.0
09 Jan = 151.0 minus 2.0 lbs
16 Jan = 148.8 minus 4.2 lbs
23 Jan = 149.6 gained 0.8 lbs
31 Jan = 148.2 minus 1.4 lbs

Finish Weight = 148.2 lost a total of 4.8 lbs! Yeah, thanks for this challenge, as it was my first. :O)

I love this! OKAY, on board... need to get these Christmas pounds off ...

So, I weigh in on a Monday...

January 7th = 206.5 lbs
January 14th = 201 lbs (-5.5)
January 21st = 199 lbs (-2)
January 28th = 196.5 (-2.5)
Febuary 4th = 196 (-0.5)
excited :)

Total Weight Loss in January So Far = 10.5 lbs
