I am trying to lose alot of weight around 50lbs and was wondering if Isoflex protien is good to take for that situation

I will be doing alot of cardio mostly and the odd occasion i will do a total body workout to maintain muscle.

Do you guys think that taking isoflex is a good way to burn extra fat. i'm not really interested in gainning muscle just maintain what i have.

Protein powder isn't a good way to lose weight. First is the calorie count, second is you can just have some chicken or fish or something. It is really more for muscle building, not weight loss.

Protein does not help lose weight. Protein is just like any other food. It is just calories. Eating many foods with protein though is a good way of getting low calorie density taste. Food with protein (chicken, lean read meat, fish, eggs, beans, some vegetabless) can give you that satisfaction that comes with filling yourself up....which I like.

I would not spend the money on protein powder. Protein does not burn body fat. Period.
