is this workout routine correct or is it harmful?

first of all, my name is Ahmed, i'm 19 years old and i'm a new member and i've been working out for more than 3 months now. i haven't been seeing results on my body (just a slight improvement in stamina).
so my brother (a muscles monster) told me to do his routine. which he names super reps:-

it consists of doing the according number of reps( 10 or 12) in 3 sets. the trick here is, if the maximum weight i can handle is 10 kg as an example, i start with 5, then quickly proceed with a 7.5 and then 10 all consecutively and quickly. i've done all my required chest and biceps sets for today and i feel like i'm just out of a battle field right now, my arms are burning as well as my chest. but my brother tells me that this is the right result to it and that i'll see massive muscle gain within weeks.

is this workout actually useful or harmful? i heard it is called crazy intervals, if i'm wrong, correct me. thank you

sorry for my bad English, i'm Egyptian

I'm not sure I understand what you're doing, so I can't say. It sounds to me like the example aove is 1 set of 10 reps at 5kg, then 1x10x7.5kg, then 1x10x10kg. Is that correct?

If the Muscles burn it's Good ;) You keep at it this way, and by the time they stop burning, they'll have grown, and you'll be ready to step up some more weight ;)

Why not do a warm up set and then do 3 sets of your maximum or near maximum? I don't see the point in halving your weight, doing 3/4 then doing near maximum/maximum. Go heavy, eat more.
