yeah, i know. x_X i got waaaay out of control. xD

but i've been recently going to the gym, i do about 1 mile at 5 mph in about 13 minutes. i walk for like, 1/10th of it for .5 at a time, going about 3.6 miles per hour. so it's kind of a speed walk. then after that, i go on what i like to call the "i'm going to put a gun to my head now" machine. it's like that tony little machine. idk, it's an elliptical, but sooo much harder. i go on that for five minutes and end up going like, .35 of a mile. x_x i hate that machine with everything in me. then i go on the elliptical, go about 1.05 mile in 10 minutes at about 6.8 mph. that's easy for me, i dunno why. then i go in the sauna for like, 20 minutes on high. that's once a day, every day. i lift a little occasionally, but i don't want to gain much muscle, so i avoid it if i can.

i want to keep my calorie intake under 1000 a day. i'm going to go to the gym, and do that every day. -_- i just want to know if this is unhealthy, or if i'm putting anything at risk by doing this.

pretty much i eat some bran flakes for breakfast, and lunch, and then for dinner i have salad with boiled chicken. i have about 2 or 3 snacks in between, which could consist of a packet of apple and cinnamon oatmeal, some fruits or veggies, special k bar, or another 3/4 of a cup of the bran flakes.

let me know if i'm doing something wrong. x_X or if there's anything i need to eat or do to be able to get down to my target weight of 125. :]

I suspect you know the answer to this, or you wouldn't be asking the question, right?

Yes, it's unhealthy to eat that little. Yes, it's stupid, considering the amount of exercise you're doing. Sorry ... not trying to be rude, just being honest. You know the answer or you wouldn't be asking.

You need to be eating at least 1200 calories of HEALTHY food and probably a little bit more, considering your workouts.

Ditch the cereal and have some real food - eggs, toast, lean turkey on whole wheat, something like that. Add in some more veggies and fruit in the morning. Eat more calories and lots of protein.

well, by all means, i am no professional..but what I can tell you is this...you seem to be doing a fair amt of excersize at the gym..which is great! but 1000 cals is NOT going to give you the required energy you need, even without going to the gym, but throw that in too, yea, your certainly not getting enough cals.....

I got this info from caloriecount.com after putting in your age, weight, goal weight and height, and moderate activity level....

"You should consume about 1,809 calories a day to reach your goal weight of 125 lbs This is at a reasonable weight loss average of 1 lbs per week, which should be reached by February 13, 2010.

Experts recommend weight loss at the rate of 0.5-2 lbs/week. Remember that this estimate is based on your body weight, height, age, gender, and activity level. It may vary slightly depending on other factors.

Generally, women should not consume any less than 1,200 calories per day, and men should not consume less than 1,500 calories per day. "

I hope that helped??

thanks for your help and advice guys. :]

i just feel like i'm usually not doing enough for the number of calories i take in. i'm probably just an over obsessive naive teenager. xD

but thanks for the guidence. :] i didn't think what i was doing was healthy, and i just wanted to make sure that it was abnormal before i stopped doing it. i don't want to harm my body to make myself happy with an image. believe me, i would so much rather be happy and eat whatever i want than unhappy and be overly obsessed and wrapped up in a weight loss, even if it's getting me somewhere.

but once again, thanks for all the advice. if anyone has some more tips feel free to keep replying. i'm going to try and start taking some before pictures tomorrow if i can muster enough willpower to even look at my tummy in a bathing suit. XDDDD

:]
