Sport Fitness
something i might eat on a normal day.
today went like this:
9:30 am - toast with peanut butter and a glass of milk (2%)
1:00ish - a ham sandwich on two slices of whole wheat bread with leatuce and an apple
4:00 - a bowl of oatmeal (made with 2% milk) with almonds
4:45 - a banana on my way to the gym (only cardio today)
7:00ish - toast with peanut butter, three eggs (two whites, one whole), and a glass of 2% milk

on days i lift i add a protein shake PWO

im looking to add more chicken and rice and stuff like that, but how does this sound so far?

It sounds like you're pretty lacking in protein.

without more details on your height, weight, gender and goals, all I can say is "get at least 20g of animal protein per meal (meat, fish, eggs, dairy). Vegetable protein doesn't count (peantbutter) unless you're paying attention to the sources and groupign them with other veggie protein sources to make a complete protein.

but since you're not a vegetarian you don't need to do that. just eat more protein, and more veggies too!

oh sorry, im 16, 6', 175. im pretty skinny but theres like a layer of fat that id really like to get rid of. ive added cardio to my routine lately (anything from 15-25 minutes on a bike at the gym) and im just hoping that i can begin to get rid of that layer and be more toned/defined.

sounds like you probably need to increase lean muscle mass. 6' and 175 lbs isn't really overweight, so you sound 'skinny fat' - under muscled.

eat yer protein, lift hard, and you'll reshape your body.

ive figured my daily calorie intake to be just over 3000, which comes out to be 528 calories a meal (thats for 6 meals a day). what im confused on is what the percent of carbs/fat/protein needs to be. ive heard a few different things, and my trainer told me 40/20/20 (c/f/p) and i could also get away with 40/15/25. what should i be looking for as im trying to gain muscle?

also is it safe for me to take creatine? i think ive heard that you should be 18, is that true?
