Sport Is this ok to mix with water??

Sport Fitness
It's wyler's light lemonade and such. Look I stopped drinking diet cokes and stuff, so I just want to know if this is okay to substitute?

Im not sure i can not find the ingredients list on their site.

INGREDIENTS:
Citric acid (provides tartness), maltodextrin (from corn), aspartame* (sweetener), artificial flavor, red 40, contains less than 2% of the following: ascorbic acid (vitamin C), magnesium oxide (prevents caking), acesulfame potassium (sweetener), monocalcium phosphate, blue 1.

*Warning to Phenylketonurics: Contains Phenylalanine.

Because of the items i highlighted in bold i would not eat it.

There is nothing in that makes water better for you as the site seems to claim. Its only making water UNhealthy.

Wow! I need some suggestions then. Cause this is super convenient. What else is fairly easy to mix quick at work?

Ok. I have Green tea right next to me...I just forgot about it! I'm sure this happens to all but water sometimes gets old(especially drinking over a gallon a day). I want something else that compliments my meal. Tea is a very good idea. Now, another question...Should I use Splenda to sweeten it, or Sweet and Low?

Lol honestly i wouldn't use either one, though if one had to choose it would be splenda( i say that with reluctance).:p

BTW

Green tea is verry picky about how you sweeten it so make several patches with many different amounts of sweetener. I hate green tea if i do not put in just the right amount of Stevia.

So, Stevia is another sweetener?

Yes, it comes from the "stevia plant" its a sweetener that the American Indians as well as many other groups throughout history used.

Its 100+times sweeter then sugar, does not affect ones blood sugar.

it and organic pure cane sugar are the only sweeteners i would use.

Though some people do not like its taste to much, but after a few uses you get used to it.
Course the only thing i sweeten is my green tea ;).

And one has to be very Easy on the amount you put in stuff other wise your food/drink will come out tasting quite sweet ;).

Lol, ok. Can I get this from walmart? BTW, I have been using a booty load of sweet n low in my morning oatmeal. :(

No i doubt you will find it there. Try an organic/health food store. Or alternitivly you can try Iherb.com where i get mine.

I use this one

I have not tried these but i know people who prefer it in powder form

Another user on here (her name is Calcium, very smart lady by the way)
Might be able to suggest some other brands. As im sure there are better brands(that likely taste even better) then NOW. Its just cheap and solid and suits my needs hence why i haven't tried any other brands yet ;).

Thanks Silent. You're too nice :)

Here's the brand I use:

Vitamin Shoppe also sell this brand along with a few other places (but not WalMart, sorry). In my opinion this is the best stevia you can get cause it doesn't have any fillers. If you read the reviews at the bottom of the page you will see many other people agree with me. I know it seems expensive but as Silent said you just have to use the tiniest bit to sweeten your food or drink.

Would "Fuze" drinks be ok. I was looking at the bottle, there are no preservatives, no artificial colors, and no artificial flavors.

Ingredients: Filtered water, pinapple juice, maltic acid, natural flavor vegetable juice, garcinia cambogia rind extract, mango juice, ascorbic acid, acesulfame potassium, draginfruit extract, sucralose, L-carnitine, and chromium polynicotinate.

Just drink water and eat fruits. It's a million times healthier.

FYI - A couple years ago I got seriously sick from drinking a Fuze drink.

Man, that sucks.

I am drinking a lot of water. Just, sometimes when I want something different I look to alternatives. Green Tea has been a big one lately thanks to the person that reminded me earlier in this thread. But I was just wondering. Thanks for your input!
