Sport Is this going to work?

Breakfast:
1 Everything bagel (onion/garlic/salt etc) with 1 single serving cup of light cream cheese

Lunch:
8oz chicken breast (cooked in a skillet with italian dressing, but I doubt I'm consuming much ot the dressing)
approximately 1/2 cup of brown rice

Dinner:
TBD....(probably very similar to lunch)

I'm 27, Male, 5'11'' and 215 lbs. I'm trying to get to 180 ultimately but 200 is my immediate goal. I did about 30+ minutes on a Precor elliptical machine (tried to stay around 180 strides/minute, avg heart rate was high 160s, calories "burned" was 415 per the machine).

What do I need to do differently to lose body fat?

Uh...haven't you heard yet that you should eat 6 small meals rather than 3 big ones?

Hell, it COULD work, just, NOT AS GOOD as the 6 meals a day routine.

Yeah, I've heard, but that isn't very practical at this point. With that being said, am I eating enough? Too much? Should I do more cardio? What about weight training?

you need to eat more and like nobody said 6 meals a day and lotsss more fruit and veg!!! add in some protine(tuna ect.) make the italian dressing low fat dressing.. and make sure the meat is the size of your palm, its wierd but when you figure out what your body needs you will know!!!

find a way to eat 5-6 times a day, even if you have to resort to protein bars and meal replacement shakes/powders. this alone will increase metabolism, as well as keep you from getting hungry.

8oz of chicken is too much at one sitting. 3-4 oz is a proper sized serving for your build and goals.

Basically not eating enough, not often enough, not enough protein, lack of healthy fats.

Cardio seems fine, 30-35mins is all it should take, but stay in the cardiovascular zone...that whole 'fat burning zone' is misleading.

And yeah, weight training should be added, and should be done on different days than cardio, or do weights first, then cardio.
