Well first I was wanting to ask if it is ok to drink protein shake when I wake up to get ready to work out. and then after I am done working out (Only doing cardio (Insanity). Looking to maintain my weight, But loose body fat and tone up (look good

So if I were to drink to 2 protein shakes this is what my plan would look like ( I am 15 5"4 118 pounds)

1.Morning
A- Protein Shakes - 400 calories
B- 3 eggs-210 calories

2. Before Lunch
A-Fiber one bar switching it to one with at least 10g protein soon or a yogurt-140 calories

3.Lunch
A-White turkey wrap, With Green peppers, ranch, banana peppers,Lettuce, cucumber,Tomatoes, 1 slice american cheese, 1 provaloni
I dont know the calories I always get it from my school though.

4.Before Dinner
A-This sort of varies on how much I put, PBJ Sandwich, 190 calories +50 from jelly 240 calories total.

5.Dinner
A- Roast Beef sandwich -473 calories

It would all total up to atleast 1800.

If you are trying to loose fat, you need to concentrate your diet on protein sources (meats, nuts, eggs, etc.) and vegetables and fruits and avoid starches and sugars. Note: many protein drinks and bars contain a lot of sugar, look for ones with low carbohydrates (Atkins or South Beach diet versions usually are low carb or there are others if you read the nutritional label).

The most effective exercise for reducing fat and toning is resistance exercise NOT cardio. Try adding some form of resistance exercise to your routine.

Specific recommendations for a healthy diet include: eating more fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes and grains; cutting down on salt, sugar and fats.
You need to prepare a weight loss eating plan. A smart eating plan is to motivate you to lose weight.
