I go to work from 9 to 5- I watch my diet closly. I go to the gym by 6:30. I work out till about 8- 8:30 then I come home take a shower and eat my evening meal. In one of the forums -it says not to eat after 8pm. but if i eat before working out. When Im done working out .Im gonna be starvin and then theres chances of me eating something fast and non healthy. so my question is -am I doing the right thing by eating my evening meal after my work out, taken Im trying to loss weight.

You need to eat after a workout to retain and build muscle no matter what time of the day. Fasting acting protein and carbs ASAP and a decent meal 1h later.

Why are you the gym for 2hours? Too long.

well Im at the gym cause the areobics class starts at 6:30 and ends at 7:30. Then I spend 20 minutes on tread, 10 on bike, and at least 20 to 30 minutes on arms, legs, abs.
Im working on my entired body everday but, like monday ill do more legs -tues-ill do more arms-weds ill do more abs-thurs-ill do more for my butt friday ill hit cardio a bit harder.

If you go to the gym everyday (you should take 1 day of rest) i would suggest 3days for weight training and the other 3days for cardio. 30 to 60min per session depending on your diet and conditioning levels.

Usually people metabolism's slow down after 8 pm. Since you're just getting done working out, this won't be the case for you.

You're fine eating after 8 in your situation, just once you have that one meal, a small snack is what you want afterwards.

2hours of excercise will eat up a lot of unecessary muscle not a good idea. That will in effect slow your metabolism.

Get a decent 2 to 3x per week fullbody workout routine and do cardio on your off days. Of course get your diet in check.

Thats my advice and its a popular and substainable approach.
