M malkore 2 Sep 25, 2007 #2 steak mince? wth is that? minced up steak meat or something else? never heard of it.
C CBWill 0 Sep 25, 2007 #3 I believe it is a meat product (minced steak) used in Meat Pie for one. AKA grounded steak As for a source of protein, check and see what cuts of beef are used and how much fat is used. Last edited: Sep 25, 2007

K Krodad 0 Sep 26, 2007 #6 About the only red meat I eat is a very lean sirloin on the very rare and special occasion, and, if you want to count this, I do eat a lot of jerky due to it's low fat content.
