is this a good HIIT exercise?

so, I usually do 20 minutes (13 intervals) that consist of: intervals of 1 minute doing 6.82 miles/ hour followed by 30 sec on 3.72 miles/hour.

is this considered a HIIT exercise and is it good ???

ps: sometimes I cant really stand the 20 minutes.. for instance, today I only did 15 minutes and walked the rest of the time (not because I was particularly tired, but because my feet start to kill me..and it has been worse, when I didn't strech out).
 
It depends. What is your goal? What do you hope to accomplish?

Better endurance? Better speed? Weight loss?
 
Hmm, well I used to do 30 minutes of 30seconds 10mph run and then 30 seconds 3mph walk.

But, that is a routine, although you might want to give yourself some more time to recover after running.

So, you might try changing 7mph run to 30 seconds and then a full minute to walk that off.

That should allow you to go much farther.
