Sport Is one fish better than others?

Sport Fitness
I was considering adding more fish to my diet and want to know if there is any one fish that is better than others? I'm considering just a basic baked whitefish but I'll probably want to mix it up before i get too bored of that.

If you could post some quick fish recipes as well that would be great. I'm not the greatest cook in the world and im not very creative. I can follow a recipe though.

Thanks

Salmon and tuna and most all white fish.

3 cans chunk tuna in water
1/4 cup flax meal
1-2 onions diced
1 Whole egg or egg whites
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp olive oil

Combine in a bowl and make 2-3 patties and fry it on a non-stick skillet(cooking spray) for 6-8 minutes on each side - medium heat.

Someone posted this.. credit to them.. but I save alot of what I read.. so here.

Top 10 Omega 3 / 6 containing fish List

Omega 3/6 Per 100g

Sprat 2. 4
Salmon 2. 3
Sardine/pilchard 2. 2
Mackerel 2. 0
Herring 1. 6
Tuna(fresh or frozen) 1. 6
Anchovy 1. 4
Crab 1. 2
Rainbow trout 1. 2
Shrimp (boiled) 0. 8

^^Good 2 know huh.

Cold water fish (salmon, herring, sardines, mackerel, albacore tuna, and trout are some of the main ones) and plants (flax and hemp) are the best sources of Omega-3s.

Some of the best fats to eat in addition to supplementation include soybean oil, almonds, extra virgin olive oil, and walnuts.

Are you lookin for protein.. omega 3's or what?

I'm looking for an alternative to beef and chicken for protein but also, a good source of EFA's. Right now most of my protein comes from chicken and beef. I basically want to replace the beef and get some of the EFA's hopefully without having to supplement my fat intake. I'd rather get it through food intake if possible.

fish is awesome... I for one eat lots of fish, especially tuna and salmon. great taste and very becoming! as for my EFAs I'm having some flax seed oil (a tablespoon or so) every day and I snack with almonds.
I wonder if there are any big disadvantages with deep frozen fish (and maybe also veggies?) instead of it being fresh though... does anyone else know?
