Is it possible(and whats more is it healthy)

Hi all

Lost 25lbs the last 2 months through diet and exercise

Started at 17 stone(238lbs) and am now 15stone 3 (213lbs)

Basically one of my goals was to be 14stone (196lbs) by christmas, But my fiance suggested i should move the goal to my birthday (October 14th) as he knows that was orginally my goal but i moved it to xmas.

Just wondering peoples opinion, would it be healtly to drop to 14 stone by october , it means id have to lose 17 lbs in 3 months- which would all together be 42 lbs in 5 months

Is it possible(and whats more is it healthy)?
 
why so focused on a specific number?

What's reasonable and healthy is 1 percent of your body weight a week -but the lower that number gets the possible and more difficult it becomes.. Focus on the new habits/behavior and replacing the old habits... do that and the weight will come off and don't worry so much about hitting a specific goal number
 
i agree.Losing fats is definitely more healthy than losing weights because the weight that you lose have some muscle mass as well..
