Sport Is it ok to skip dinner sometimes?

Sport Fitness
I was in great shape but I have been out of the gym for almost a year and I just started back up 3 weeks ago. So far I have been working out 5 days a week weight training and running 2-4 miles (8-9min mile pace) 4 days of the week. I am 30 years old, 5' 6" and weigh 153lbs.

I don't want to really lose or gain any weight but I'm trying to lose bodyfat (face and stomach) and gain lean mass.

Lately (past week) I have not been hungry for dinner. I eat a big breakfast at 7am and then a big lunch at 11:45am. I then go to the gym from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
I usually eat dinner between 7-8pm but I've already skipped 2 dinners this week because I wasn't hungry.

Am I hurting my body by skipping dinner?

Anyone else have any similar experiences? I love eating, and dinner is my favorite meal so it's kind of weird that I'm not hungry for dinner.

Thanks in advance!
