Sport Is it my stomach fault?

Sport Fitness
im always a small eater since long time ago, i would definately go for kids meal if the cafe/resturant allows it. i cant even finish a whole Mac meal, with fries and burger and drink.

i always wonder is it my stomach fault that i can only eat such a small amount, but mind you, it doesn't mean i'm slim and lean. i can eat many meals in a day and i have an issue with night craving.

back to the problem, everytime i dine with friends or colleagues, i feel very obliged to finish the meal cos they will complain that i'm wasting food, or girls will say i'm making them look like a pig. i don't deliberately eat small portions, i can't help, i just get full easily, but after 1-2hours, i want to eat again.

is this a problem? am i not eating right? i'm already making sure every meal has more protein than carbs, i watch my diet reasonably well enough. i don't think its because of my diet that cause this problem cause it has been going on for years. way before i even do any weight training.

i feel very bad, cos i don't want my friends to feel bad and i don't want to feel obliged to finish my meal if i can't eat anymore.
:(

you eat what you can, why would you want to force yourself to eat more than you can handle comfortably. as long as you eat enought throughout the day it is no big deal.. don't let others guage the amount you eat, or what you eat, do what is right for you.

Hi,
Try not to let you friends make you feel guilty if you don't finish your foods. It's your choice whether or not to eat it all.
Eating small portions every couple of hours is actually the healthies thing to do. Keeps the metabolism burning nicely.
As long as you eat plenty of good carbs, lean proteins and small amounts of good fats you are doing well.

thanks jenn and sarah, i do feel its a waste of food many times, thats why i try to take abit more than i can, i would still end up not finishing all my food
if i eat too little, people think i'm saving money or on diet, if i prepare my own food, people also think the same way, nuts huh?

Who cares what other people think. This is YOUR life.

Do for YOU.

It's taken me years to get to the point where my eating habits (at least in terms of frequency and volume) are what yours are naturally. You could try taking food home when you can to ease your guilt. As to what other people think, it doesn't really matter. There are worse fates. :)
