Is it better to...

work out on a single muscle group a day, or on all muscle groups a day? Say everday work out on Push Ups, then the next week... sit ups... and so on. Or should I work out different groups everyday?

You need to be working every muscle group within a single week.

And how you do that really all depends on the amount of time during a week that you have to give for resistance training. You should try and train a minimum of 3 days per week. If you can only commit to this minimum, then each resistance training day should be a full body workout day.

If you can give more days than that, then you should try to rotate muscle groups in and out from workout to workout, being sure that you hit every muscle group at least 3 times a week.

Wednesday: Chin Ups

Thursday: Sit Ups

Friday: Lower Ab Tucks

Saturday: Thigh/Hip Stand Ups

Sunday: Calf Ups

Everyday: Jog – 30 Minutes


and how much of these should I do? or is there a better way for this?
