I have no idea if that's what I have but here's what happens to me.. I'm hoping someone can relate to my symptoms.

If I eat anything greasy (even a small bag of popcorn) my stomach gets bloated, horrible flatulence, pain, and I get a punch-in-the stomach kind of feeling ALL DAY. And the same thing happens if I eat spicy foods or too much flour.

Like today for example all I ate this week were meals w/ tofu, vegetarian patties, lots of vegetables, fruits, smoothies etc. and I felt great but an hour ago I ate a slice of veggie, no cheese, thin-crust pizza and now I have a bad stomach pain. :(

I took ALLI for 3 months in 2009 and I had to stop because of these so called "accidents" Has anybody tried it and had these same symptoms? I can eat healthy all I want but sometimes ALL I WANT IS POPCORN!!! haha.. anyway to get around this? :flame:

I would highly recommend that you talk to a doctor. Sorry, I don't really know anything else.

I agree. I suffer from something similar, but know what it is caused by. It took months for my doctors to figure it out, so I would suggest you go and see your doctor and describe your symptoms exactly.

It would help if you kept a diary where you write down exactly what you have eaten before these episodes, it will help your doctor to figure out a pattern and what foods exactly might be causing the problems. Make sure to include everything in the diary, even smallest things like certain spices, if you used butter or margarine, and what drinks you had.

One thing, I don't think it has anything to do with irritable bowel syndrome, the symptoms don't really work for that. It sounds more like a stomach problem, but as said, checking with your doctor is really your best bet.
