Hey guys, just found this site and my INSANITY workout just arrived today. I want to use this to monitor my progress as well as motivate me to actually stick with it and enjoy this workout.
A bit about me...I'm 28 years old, and a current grad student at a local university. I work nights in the ER here and go to school most days as well as interning at the Medical Examiners office and am a teaching assistant for my professor. It sounds like alot on my plate because it is, however I do have at least an hour each day that I can do this so there SHOULD be no excuses on my part.
I decided to try the INSANITY workout because 1. tired of paying gym memberships 2. the nearest gym is a 30 mile round trip and 3. wanted to try something different. Working nights threw off my diet, workout habits, basically everything however its the only way I can continue going and afford to pay bills.
I started working here 3 years ago and was 209lbs. Now I am 245lbs I stand 6'0'' so I do not look very overweight clothed but I am. I plan to start tomorrow logging what I eat, drink and how the workout is and what it consists of for other members to read before they decide to do this.
Hopefully this kicks my ass in a good way. Tomorrow I'll post the pre-insanity pictures and details of the workout. After that pictures will be every 2 weeks and the details will be daily.
