Hey everyone
Happy new year.
I am in desperate need of your adivce.
I have been training to compete professionally for a long time now, and i have just recently changed and modified my diet and supplements.
I am a 24 yr old female bodybuilder, weight 150 lbs, 5'7'' , bf 14%
I consume 1.5 g of protein per lb of body weight to preserve lean mass
I want to drop my bf and preserve my gains, and so i am looking to focus more on smart cardio and lighter weights for a while
BUT...
I need to cut down on my carbs to lose weight and , without a doubt, that is going to affect my performance and endurance.
I just recently baught Nitronx by VPX. I was Using zero carb protein by vpx as a post workout shake, with my glutamine and creatine.
the question is, I am going to substitute my pre workout meal for a shake and up my glutamine and creatine intake, is that going to affect weight loss?
I have had great gains on my zero carb protein, but this Nitronx has it all, its suppose to take all the confusion out of pre and post workout shake contents. It has BCAAs , glutamine, creatine, dextrose, whey protein...and all that good stuff, in reasonable ratios
but it has 345 calories PER SERVING! (one scoop, 47g of protein)
so if my pre and post workout shakes consist of 690 calories, then i need to drop my 7 meals to 6 or even 5. pre and post workout nutients are shakes, and bedtime shake (3 shakes so far) so i am left with 3 meals tops that i need to spread throughout my 10 hour days at work before i train at night.
in other words, i am lost and confused and miserable. 3 meals ALL day is going to slow down my metabolism BIG TIME
Zero carb protein: when do you suggest i consume that? morning shake?
OR post workout shake? or both?
7-hour sustained dispersion anti-catabolic protein: (usually consumed prior to bed) preferable to use the low carb ? since i would like to cut my carbs in the evenings? wouldnt you think?
I need to have a good 3 to 4 solid meals in there somewhere. At this point we're looking at a good 2200 calories at least.
Advice, Anyone!
thank you so much for baring with me as i am sure I've confused everyone including myself
