I know it happens alot, but I just want to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I went to the doctors office a while ago and told the doctor a few concerns I had. Since I'm considered obese, the doctor said that he would give me some pills(or something) once I've made improvement with my weight. Now the thing that scared the crap out of me was when he took my weight. I got on the scale and he said "I can't give you an exact weight. It's gone past how much the scale can hold." (or something like that). I thought scales at doctors offices went up to 350lbs. Do the weight on scales vary from office to office? Is it normal for a person to not realize their weight by such a large number? Is it normal for a doctor to not be able to give a patient their weight? Or do you think I could have possibly just been over 350lbs?
The good news.
I recently weighed myself a couple of months ago and I was about 304. I am now 280 (november 6th to december 23rd). I am continuing my weight loss, and plan on losing 160 more pounds by my 21st birthday (march 2010). I have been on a terrific low calorie diet that I customized for myself and work out almost everyday (gym and home). Does anybody have any tips or advice that I could use to reach my goal?
Thanks for your help and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
