That's right, I'm joining you; the few, the proud... the healthy.
I used to run a few years back (I consider this my 'prime' - in grade 10) and was able to run 12km in under an hour. I don't think I could do that now, but I want to be able to do that and more. I read an article that said that beginners should start out easy... but I went for a 'test run' a week ago and found that I'm still able to run comfortably at a quick pace (quick enough so that I can't talk while running). Should I continue to run at my quicker pace, or slow it down and start from the bottom again?
Also, I'm a very skinny guy - 6'1" and I weigh 135 pounds. I'm trying to pack on the pounds by hitting the weightroom three days a week, but I'm afraid that I'm just going to run off any extra weight that I gain. Any advice on this? I'm thinking of trying protein shakes to help with the weight gain.
Thanks.
