My name is Victoria Johnson, I'm turning 25 next month and I've been saying I'll lose the weight this year.. since I was 16 years old. I'm mum to two little boys, who are feeling the affects of my unhealthy life. We rarely have fun because of my health problems.
I have PCOS which can only be 'cured'/maintained by losing weight, but when you have PCOS it's a lot harder to lose the weight due to blood sugar levels and insulin resistance. My doctor is useless and keeps trying to get me on the pill (which I've read can make PCOS worse) and just gives me anti depressants to cope with the depression.
So, on to the stats I guess.
I'm 5'6" tall. I weigh 14st/196lbs. I wear size 18 pants (UK) and size 16 tops. I binge eat. Here's a typical day:
Wake up, skip breakfast while getting my son to preschool.
Eat 1.5hrs after waking up, usually something like 2 slices white toast with butter and milky tea.
Elevensies which is usually crisps and chocolate, biscuits or a white bread sandwich.
Lunch is usually more bread with something like beans or spaghetti, quick and easy.
I'll have something around 3pm like heinz tomato soup with more bread
Dinner is usually Mc Donalds or take out, followed by a share bag of Sensations and a Kit Kat Peanut Chunky, every night.
I don't drink much water. I drink lots of milky tea.
I stay up until about 11-midnight, and wake up around 7-8am.
I don't exercise and barely ever go out, due to my depression and anxiety.
I either taxi to places or my husband drives us around.
I'm desperate. Can you point me towards some inspirational/good websites for weight loss info?
