Hi! My name is Alex and I'm 20. I don't know if I'm really overweight, I have 85kg but my height is 183 cm. I was like this for the past 4 years, my jaw line isn't really visible, my belly is so visible and my legs are full of fat. I can't run more than 300m without getting really tired. I can't go swimming because I'm shamed of my body. I tried counting calories, playing basketball everyday, but I really couldn't find a way to lose weight. My goal is to get to 75 kg and I really want to "get in shape". I really hope that I can find support and some good advice here. Can someone explain how to navigate through this forum? Where should I start?

Hi Alex and welcome! For me, the most important part of this forum is the diary section where you can browse around to see what other people are doing or just record your own struggles and achievements so others can support you and maybe point out things you could be doing more efficiently.
You don't sound very overweight to me so you may be able to get to goal by just tweaking some small things in your daily life.
Exercise is very helpful for a lot of things but for weight loss, the food you eat is by far the most important thing. What would a typical day of eating look like for you?

Hi, Alex & welcome to the forum. LaMa was typing at the same time as me & we almost said the same thing. You will find lots of support in the diary section. It's at https://weight-loss.fitness.com/forums/weight-loss-diary.9/ I just did a quick check to see what your BMI is on the Aus heart foundation chart & it's 25.4, which is almost in the healthy range. It's not a clear guide to whether you are overweight or not though. By the sounds of it, you may be able to make some simple changes to your diet. Let us know what you eat & we can look at it & make suggestions. Cheers!

Hey Alex, welcome to the forum. You have gotten some very good advice from LaMa and Cate, I probably can't add a lot to that. Get your diary started tell us more about yourself and your goals and you'll get a lot of good support.

Best of luck to you.
