ok, my name is lori i'm new to this..so dont mind me..i'm struggling with my weight. i want to look good for october and i can never stick to a diet so can anyone help me i need some motivation:(

Welcome to your diary and to this site... hopefully you'll get some good motivation fromit and will be able to reach your goal...

First motivator.. Don't deprive yourself... most diets are tough to stick to because 3 days into them you are craving something you can't have... you want to be sensible and make smart choices...

Any idea what kind of plan you were interested in? What about exercising?

Another motivator is to get yourself a food journal, either online, or paper and recorcd everything you eat, and calories as well.. it's interesting to see where your calories are coming from.. and when you are forced into being accountable for them... you think twice about putting something in your mouth..

WATER WATER WATER.. drink lots and lots of water
 
Lori, welcome! Glad you started your diary! Tell us a little about yourself. What are your goals? Where are you starting at? What "drives" you"? What is the best way for us to help you reach your goal? (Nosey ain't I?! LOL) This just gives the rest of us a better idea in how to help you most :D

ok, well i'm 19yrs old and i weight about 184 pounds and i'm only 5'4 my goal is by oct 8th my 20th bday i want to go and get my belly button pierced i dont wnat to do diet pills i want to do it by exercising..i want to lose 30lbs. i do walk away the pounds the 3mile one and i'm trying the 'special k" diet. well please someone help me..i need alot of modivation cuz i'm not happy with myself right now

If you cannot stick into a diet why not just eat healthy?
You can eat a lot when you eat fruits and vegies.

I don't think dieting alone will do all the work.

i believe in dieting plus EXERCISING.
 
ok, yea well i do work out, i do walk away the pounds the 3mile tape for 45 min. is that good? or should i be doing more?
