Hello, my name is Bridgette, and I am new to this forum. I just recently had a baby and I am trying to get back in shape. I walk, do aerobics, and lift weights. I would like to lose about ten pounds or so. It seems like it is taking forever. It is also hard to find the time especially with a new baby. I have to go here and there, take care of her, take care of my husband and house. I would appreciate any advice on how anyone lost ten or more pounds. :)

Maybe you can post how many minutes of aerobics and walking your doing, and how many reps and sets on your weight lifting. It could be your routine just needs fine tuning to be more effective, also do you take your baby out for walks in a stroller??? thats great exercise and will firm up your leg, arm and stomach muscles pushing the stroller. Well good luck to ya, I dont think you'll have any problems at all reaching your goal.
 
I try to do sixty minute aerobics everyday. On days that I don't have time I will do a quick thirty minute routine, or I walk three miles. I lift ten pound weights, I do arm, leg, butt, hips, abs, chest and back. Sometimes I try to do this at least three days a week if not four. I try not to over do it and burn myself out. I try to mix it up to keep motivated. Thanks for the reply fitski!!

Wow good stuff you have a good workout routine going on for sure. I guess the only thing I could say is stick with it and you'll totally notice results before you know it! Here's a link to an ab exercise site you might want to add some of these to your workout its the only thing you seemed to be missing...but totally keep up the with the workouts your doing awesome.

your workout plan sounds really good to me. With a healthy diet on the side, I'm confident that you will shed those pounds. So what if it takes a few months, the weight that comes of slower generally stays off. I guess at max 2 lbs a week, and don't forget you just had your baby. Just give yourself a little time and you'll see it'll work.
