Hello everyone! I'm finally ready to change myself and my lifestyle in hopes of better fitness and health.
I'm still very young, only 17, but I think it's only best to start early.
I've had so many troubles with my weight in the past, and even found myself bordering into an eating disorder when nothing seemed to be working.
I'm not obese, and my BMI declares me in a high range of the "healthy" zone, but I have more than a few pounds to lose around my stomach, thighs and buttocks.
I've battled with eating healthy in the past, I get bad cravings, but I know with the right amount of determination I can finally work at sculpting my body into what I want it to be.
My premise is this: the common sense diet.
-Eating healthy (fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats)
-Exercising daily (running, fitness dvd, playing DDR)
-Consuming more water
-Watching my portions
Plus I want to fit in some daily weight-lifting to build my muscle and thus my metabolism.
I'm gonna try and keep this attitude for all of May and June, with goals of being healthier and happier by summer!
I'll be sticking around this forum for motivation. I can't wait to meet you all.
