Hello all!! My name is Bridgette and I just recently had a baby girl. I have been trying to get back in shape and I hope that I am getting there. I walk, do aerobics, and lift weights. I would love to hear some advice on how to lose ten or more pounds. Please tell me your story and how you lost the weight. I am a little pressed on time so any advice would be greatly appreicated. Thanks:)

Hi Bridgette_b8s
How is your diet? Lot's of fruit and veggies? And don't forget water.
It's really important to make sure you're eating enough so your body doesn't
store fat. I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day. So I am eating almost always,
Like a snack of fruit or yogurt in between breakfast and lunch and again between lunch and dinner. And before bed I usually have an apple or
8 oz. of skim milk. This way you are never hungry. Well goodluck and
keep up the good work! Tina

Hello Tina, thanks for the advice. Its nice to hear from someone and what they are doing to lose weight. I do eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I also am getting ready to start weight watchers again. I did it for a while, before I was pregnant and I really like it. Thanks again!
Bridgette

Yes, weight watchers is great, I have two friends that are members and they
have been losing weight every week. Well good luck! Tina

back in march 2000, i had a boy and delivered at a whopping 210 pounds. (this was after being around 125 my whole life!) a lot of the weight just fell off on its own, but 5 months later i was pregnant again - this time with twins. again i delivered in april 2001 weighing 210 pounds. i got a treadmill in christmas 2001 and began exercising like crazy, but that didnt last because i started having health problems and in July 2002 i was diagnosed with MS. i was in constant pain and couldnt exercise at all. started treatment and havent felt well enough to do anything about my weight until this year. In april of this year (weighing 185 pounds) i finally decided once and for all im going to get thin! i had just seen a commercial about how anna nicole smith lost all this weight using Trimspa and decided to try it. so i started walking every night, watching my diet, and drinking tons of water. now its July and i have lost a total of 30 pounds so far!

Hi wonderwoman,
I relate to you as in may 1999 I had twins, when I beacame pregnant
I weighed about 125 and wore a size 4/5. At the time of delivery I weighed
195, only about 12 pounds of that was babies. I lost weight pretty fast due to most of it being water, I had suffered from eclampsia shortly after the
c-section. Anyways about 10 months later I was back to my pre-pregnancy body But.....Shortly after I became pregnant with my son, and at the time of his birth in march 2001 I weighed 185. That weight did not come off so easy
I have been batteling it for years although now at 5'10" I weigh 146 and have
16 pounds till I reach my goal weight of 130. Although I'm lucky not to suffer
from any health problems, You are doing great and an inspiration to me! :D
Are you taking the trim-spa supplement?

your 146 and u want to lose 16 more? wont that be too thin for 5'10"?
i have a large frame and am 5'5" so if i weigh below 120 people start telling me i look sick. my lowest ever was 108 and everyone thought i had cancer or was anorexic. so for now my goal is 125. but from past experience i think once i get there i still wont be satisfied. yes i have been taking the Trimspa since April. the first month taking it, it REALLY decreased my appetite and i had to force myself to eat a few hundred calories a day. but then it seemed to stop working but i decided to keep taking it and am still on it today. i have tried other supplements in the past but none of them worked like this. i truly believe it gave me the jump start i needed and when i started seeing the weight drop off i just had to keep going.

No actually, 130 lb.s is probably perfect. I used to weigh 125 and that was great not too thin but, I have had 3 kids and I'm not going to be un-realistic
so I am shooting for 130 lb.s, I am pretty tall (my husband calls me a giant)
but my frame is small thats probably why 130 won't be pushing it.
I know what you mean, when I weighed 118 people told me I really needed to gain some weight, they were probably right!
I would probably be happy with my weight now but, I still have too much fat
on my stomach, sides and a little extra on my arms and legs. It's pretty much
spread out.
What is Trim-spa supposed to do? Control appetite? Help metabolism?
You said you had to force yourself to eat a few hundred calories?
Just be sure not to eat that way every day. I'm sure you know about how your body will store fat if you don't eat enough, but your body needs fuel
for workouts and daily activities. Good luck with the trim-spa... :D Tina

That is truely an amazing story and I wish you all of the luck in the world. Congradulations on the amazing weight you lost and thanks for the helpful advice. You are an inspiration. I have a back and neck injury from a car wreck back in 1999, so it is painful for me to exercise but I try to do the best I can. After having my daughter the pain is worse but I am trying to keep my head up. I have a friend with ms and I don't see how you find the strenghth to exercise. Keep up the good work and hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Tina! If you think that you could be happy at your weight now, then why don't you spend some extra time on your problem areas to elimanate the problem. I have a mother in law that is your height and small build and she has just gained up to 120 and she still looks too skinny. All of my husbands family is this way. He has a cousin that had her baby a year ago and she is 5'10 and now weighs 145. She used to weigh about 115 and personally I think she looks alot better at 145 and don't need to lose no more. I know that it is up to you but in my experience I would say that you probably look better at your current weight. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Bridgette_b8s
I actually can't be happy at my current weight, I have too much
fat in certain areas and well it's actually spread out, so I need to do the
fat burning exercises that I do. I want to be toned and have thinner arms
(like before) and thinner legs and flat stomach! Then I will be truely Happy!
Some of my friends tell me that I don't need to lose anymore weight but,
then they see me in a bikini and understand. Bikini's are the enemy!
Anyways I may only need to lose 10 lb.s and not 16, I will just have to see when I actually get to that point in my progress. :)
Thank you for your reply! and keep up your good work as well! Tina

sig, trimspa is supposed to do exactly what u mentioned. the thing is i only experienced the decreased appetite part of it the first month i was on it. so when i said i had to force myself to eat a few hundred calories i only meant for my first month. yes i do know i have to eat more than that and i do. in fact i rarely even count the calories i consume anymore, just watch that things dont get out of hand. after all i cant let numbers rule my life. i get salads a lot from BK and mcd's and if i have them in the house i wont eat the stuff i cook for my family. like that delicious chicken parmesan and mashed potatoes i would just love to eat! im just hoping that by the time i stop the trimspa that my body will be in shape enough to take over and help keep those pounds off.

and bridg, what type of MS does your frind have? i have relapsing/remitting which tends not to be as debilitating as the other 2 types of MS. just look at montel williams and how he works out everyday despit having MS. dont get me wrong tho, it does rob one's energy level but thankfully there are meds out there that help combat that part. theres one drug i take called provigil that was originally just for narcoleptics, but now is being prescribed to MS'ers to help fight fatigue.

Hello Wonderwoman, I am not really sure what type of ms she has. Actually, she is really my moms friend but I am real close to her and consider her a dear friend. I know that as time went by she got really bad. Most of the time she couldn't walk or get up out of bed. Her husband had to bathe her all the time. She always kept her head up though. I will try to find out the type from my mom.

Hello Tina! Trust me I know how you feel, but my frame is different from yours. I think that I have told you before, but I have a two month old daughter and I am trying to get my body back in order. I would like the same results as you, but I am starting to wonder. I always had a flat stomach, but now I can not even desribe how it looks. I have excess skin at the bottom of my stomach, but the rest is flat. I will probably always have it though. I agree bikinis are the enemy. My two sister-in-laws have five chidren between them and neither one of them exercises, and they both look like models. Their stomachs are flat as pancakes, no strecth marks, and the rest of their body's are skinny as can be. I gained less weight with my pregnancy then either one of them, and they look so much better than me. It is so depressing. Their mom is like that too. She has a four-pack for a stomach and has never exercised in her life. Like I said before my husbands whole family is like this. Keep up the good work and best wishes.
Bridgette;)

Hi Bridgette,
I know what you mean about your stomach! My lower abdomen has some excess skin too, I'm not sure what it will look like when I reach my target
weight??? My Mom says I'm young and it will snap back, But I don't think there's much elasticity left there from being stretched beyond belief with twins and then a 9.5 pounder! I use the skin firming lotion too but never noticed even a slight change. As for you thin friends, it's obviously in their
genes and their metabolism. Some people are lucky that way and well...
some of us have to bust our butts, :( oh well, just want to look better
and feel better! :D T.T.Y.S. Tina

ugh, i got the cottage cheese look on my lower belly for like the first 3 inches up from my c-section scar. other than surgery i dont think this will ever go away cuz its just loose skin that stretched over my 10 pound baby belly! it is so ugly i wish i had the money to get it fixed. :(

Wonderwoman,
I'm right there with ya! Same here. At least no one see's it, except myself and my husband!
But, If I come into some serious money...it's gone! :D
