there are so many, i don't know where to start looking. i'm looking for one that is the most -accurate-, and of course, cheapest. preferably a strap one. if you have any recommendations post them here, thanks.
 
Any of the Polar FS series (FS-1, FS-2, FS-3) will serve you well. I have a cheapy FS-1 and it is fine.

But, I would recommend buying the higher quality, more accurate Wearlink transmitter.
 
went with a polar fs1, and it's great, thanks guys
