Hey everyone, I just joined the forum today. This place looks awesome!

I can't wait to get a journal started -- I've gotta keep myself motivated.

Hey, glad to have ya on board! Why dont' you tell us more about yourself? How much weight do you want to loose, what kind of diet are you on? ect

I'm male, 25, and I've been married to my lovely wife for 5 months now. I'm a software developer, so I'm sitting at my desk most of the day. There's also plenty of food around the office, which can be a challenge at times.

I've struggled with my weight all my life.. In 9th grade I weighed 235, then I went on Atkins and got down to 165 by 10th grade. Since then my weight has rollercoastered between 190 and 230.

Currently I weigh 228. My first mini goal is to be 210 by 3/11 -- thats my wife's birthday. I figured if I can't lose the weight for me, I'll lose it for her! :)

Ultimately I'd like to be 165 and fit. The last time I weighed 165 I didn't work out, so I looked kinda sickly.. :p
