I'm gonna do it

Good luck toward your goal and educational puruit!

You could probably pass an exam tomorrow, or maybe the day after - with all that you know. I think you'll do great. - and if you did it full time, the megabux wouldn't suck.

Just make sure you want to be a personal trainer for the right reasons, not for the megabux.

That's the problem I have, I want to be a PT because it's something I have a passion about but I looked into the average earnings they make and I'd only just cover me mortgage!

I plan on doing it once I've had a few more annual bonuses and don't need to work for the money so much anymore

Derwyddon - I'd be a client of yours anyday, the industry needs more people like you so go ahead and do it and by the time you've qualified I might have got my transfer to the states though work and I can be one of your first paying clients :)

Here, they don't actually make all that much actually, about $35/ hr which is good, but not when you account for gym commissions, and all the tax and benefit issues that come with being self employed.

A girl I know in the Dallas area pays $45 for a half hour, so her guy is making $90 an hour. I don't know about you, but full time of roughly $90/hr is pretty decent pay in my book.

who the heck is her trainer? I have many friends here in Dallas that are PT's and they dont charge $90 an hour! :eek2:

$90 an hour would be pretty damn good. Even in the UK, where we actually get ripped off in every possible way imaginable.
