Okay, I'm here and I wanna start a journal:eek: I have been eating healthier and being more active since janurary of this year. I promised myself and kids to be healthier. I have fallen off many times. And I know I eat better but I eat too much of it. Plus I will sneek in other stuff:p So, I know I need to write down my food and my activity. I just started to go back to the gym as of this week and will contunie to go every other day. You all are such a great support and I know I need more of that in my life:D I have been 170 since jan.'06 and since I started this site and joined a group I've lost weight. My golal is to be 145 by june 1st of this year. And then another 10 lbs lighter in augaust. I'm 5ft 1.5 inches. So they say my ideal weight is 130. But 135 will do, even 145 will do. As long as I'm toned and feel great. I'm still joining all the challenge and those will be my mini goals;) So I'm giong to post tomorrow evening with my daily intake. Wish me luck!!!!!!!

Hey there again jb88~!

Your attitude is always the first thing you need with this, and you got it! And be sure to feel free to jump right in and write in other diaries too! Kinda see what those with successes are doing to lose. YOU getting to the gym is a wonderful beginning! Just keep coming back and posting, both good and bad days, and before you know it you are going to be where you wanna be. Believe me, I dont think a single person in these forums has been completely perfect in every way when it came to food and exercise. What they DID do is keep coming back here for support, chalk up cheat days and missing exercise as all part of the challenge. It happens. What matters is consistency! If ya got that, ya got it licked!

Ill post here as often as i can, neighbor. We'll definitely have to meet sometime soon!
 
Hi Jelly Belly! Welcome to the forum! You sound very motivated, which is great. I have tried to lose weight many times before, and have always given up. It really is about sticking with it. We all have bad days, and give in to temptations. The real trick is to not give up!

This forum has really been helpful to me for advice, support and motivation. I hope you find the same. Look forward to reading you entries. Good luck with your weight loss goals!! :)
 
Okay I know it's late, But I wanted to make sure I was done eating for the day:D Today was a good day. I cleaned the house, swept, mop etc..... I know I didn't do good as well as food. Oh well tomorrow is a new day. My hubby and I were talking about moving back to our home town(San Jose, C.A) He's in the military and so he would have to put in a request. It would be so much easier to live there. All our family is there. Well have a good night and tomorrow I will post alittle earlier;)

Breakfast:
2 scramble eggs
3 turkey sausages

Snack:1/2 cup of sugar free pudding w/ 4 vanilla waffers

Lunch: 1 cup of pasta w/ broccilli, cheese, olives, tomates and ceasar dressing

Dinner: 1 cup of pasta (same as above) & a medium Atlantic Salomon cooked in the george formen grill & 2 layer biscuits:mad:

Snack: 1/2 cup of kettle popcorn:eek:

Total cups of water: 24
3 diet 7up sodas

It's great that you have started a journal. Actually seeing what you are doing and getting feedback from other members is great! Keep up the great work! Don't you just wish that house work would be an exercise all in it's own? :p

Girl you took the words right out of my mouth. If only. I did get on my knees:eek: and scrub the floors clean though. I broke a sweat. But not enough:eek:
 
Good morning everyone!!!! So far this morning is good. I lost a pound:D and I am giong to take my two monsters to the park today. I'm giong to make lunch and we'll walk to the park and chill. It is such a beautiful day. Well, I will post later. Ya'll have a great day!!!

Okay so far so good. I did not take the kids to the park today:mad: My hubby and I had to do some research for his job. Tonight we will go for a walk as a family:D I'm very interested in the isagenix. My hubby knows of another cleanse, it's "fleet". He was given that to make weight inorder to jion the army. Has anyone heard of it. It worked. He lost 10lbs. No kidding, in one day. But it isn't good to take it all the time. So he is looking for it now. I was on the computer ealier and fit tv was on and the workout "all stars workout " came on. Today was with the ball. So immeditely I got my ball and started to workout, jeans and all. It was very challenging with my jeans. I did a half hour of it. It felt good. My tummy is hurting already. I also did my 20 min pilates this afternoon. I'm giong to eat my dinner now:p
So far I have had 1 diet coke.
Lunch:
2 toasted wheat breads w/ light mayo(less than a tsp)
mustard a tsp
lettuce
handful of tortilla chips

Dinner:
2 talapias
1 cup of white rice
1 cup of steamed veggies

Woah, you're eating pretty healthy! Keep up the excellent work and I'm sure you'll meet your goals really soon! You can do it!
