Welcome to everyone. My name is Carleton and I've just joined Oct. 6,2018. For the past 25 years I've being suffering with bi-polar disorder. In 2000 I weighed about 190 lbs, and was very active. Just recently, well 5 years ago they had to adjust my meds and with the adjustment came 72 extra lbs to my body. Now I was at 272 lbs. obese, out of shape, manic and depressed. So I decided to go on a diet and with friends support I lost 60 lbs, wow am I happy!! So since the loss of weight I've maintained 212 lbs. I credit the weight loss program that I was on for most of my success. They had live coaching, people you can call for support, direction and just about anything that you needed. The big thing that I learned is that you can't lose weight without making lifestyle changes. My coach told me that habits were made in about 66 days, so if I could make it through the first two months, I would of formed some new good habits. It took me awhile to find my "WHY" but when it was identified and understood, and when it is aligned correctly with my intentions, then I became unstoppable towards my goal. So, it's safe to say that I'm content with my life now, and it's the right time to branch out and talk to people with the same issues as me..
